Club Milton will be running this year. Hopefully, a schedule will be ready to hand out at the banquet on March 4th. We are currently making improvements and think everyone will like what they see here in 2006. Depending on the weather we are going to try and start running in mid to late March.

from route 16 go 2 miles north on rt. 30. Left on Reynolds Pond rd. It's about 200yards on right. Cars will be everywhere.
People who want tickets to the banquet need to get them in advance before they all go. There is a limited number.

Rules are full face helmet, neck brace, racing gloves, long sleeve shirt, long pants, and closed toe shoe. No shorts allowed. We encourage the use of chest protectors, however they are not mandatory. All motors must be 5hp with stock appearing carburetors. Karts must have bodies and full rear bumper. Open tire rule, as long as it is a slick. True young begginers can come and run a 3 1/2 hp motor to begin the learning process. Copies of the rules and schedule will be on hand Saturday April 1st at practice. It's at 5:00pm. Come on out and have your questions answered.

young ladies steal the show!!!
Four out of five classes were won by girls on opening night at Club Milton. Dylan Evans managed to take home his first victory for the boys in the junior one class.Great performance, by the way, Dylan! It all started in the rookie class when Ashlyn Steele jumped out front and led the rest of the way for her first victory. In the junior two class Lauren Knowles took home her first win in a real competitive class. In the adult one class Staci Warrington held off a strong field for her first win of the year. In the always exciting adult two class Carla Ritter was in position, when the top two karts spun between 3 and 4, to get her first win of the year. There were 53 karts signed in for opening night!!
All in all it was a great success. A new public address system should be in place for the next race on April 21st. Thanks to everyone for a great time!

Everything is on for this Friday night. Should be exciting!! Four out of five wins will be tough to follow up for the ladies. We'll see what happens.
Everyone please remember that May 5th is the cancer benefit race. Try to make donation or ask others to do so. They can make the check out to the American Cancer Society and it is deductible. Will have more info on this on Friday night.

Staci Warrington first to repeat!!
Things were certainly different at Club Milton with day time racing but still exciting as ever. Warrington picked up her second win of the year in the adult 1 class. This is shaping up to be a very strong class with lots of competition. In other action Nick Davis won in his first time here in the rookie class. In the junior 1 it was Amanda Whaley who got the win over Dylan Evans. In the junior 2 class Colby Lynch was the class of the field, picking up his first win here. Great job by everyone!!!
Remember Friday night May 5th is the cancer benefit race. Make a donation if you can. Checks can be made out to the American Cancer Society. Racing action this night will be sponsored by Delmarva RV Center. Come out and enjoy yourself and make a difference!!

I would like to take a minute to appologize to Trey and his flag crew for expressing my frustration while on the track Sunday. As all competitors do at times we let frustration and emotions get the best of us as I did Sunday. Trey, I appologize for my actions and I appreciate your dedication to safety for the kids and adults that race at your track.

This Friday May 5th: Our cancer benefit race!!
If you've never been to Club Milton Speedway, this will be a good night to come. There is no admission so come on out and put a little money towards a good cause. It will be well worth it. The outlaw kart drivers put on one heck of a show. See them go two and three wide for much of the race!!
It promises to be full of action with trophies and prizes up for grabs. In addition to the regular show, there will be a Dash race for the juniors as well as a Dash race for the adults. They will be run after the heats, but before intermission. See you there!
For Donations make checks payable to: American Cancer Society
