Thanks to everyone who was at Club Milton!!
Relay for Life was the big winner at the speedway on Friday May 5th, 2006. Together we all raised a total of $3055.00 to help fight cancer. Thanks again.
A near capacity crowd took in some good racing. Makayla Johnson won in the 3.5hp class while Nick Davis got his second win in a row in the rookie class. In the junior 1 race, Robbie Emory held off a good field to get his first win here. The junior 2 race was as exciting as ever with some good racing up front. In the end it was Lauren Knowles getting her second win of the year. In the adult 1 class, Quinten Hall got his first win of the year and is looking real strong. The adult 2 race was won by Carla Ritter. It was her second win of the year.
The junior dash was won by Robbie Emory and the adult dash was won by Rob Walls.
Great job by all!!!

Davis and Knowles pick up third wins!!
It was another good night of racing at Club Milton. In the 3.5hp class Makayla Johnson is proving tough to beat as she bested a growing field of young racers.
Nick Davis got his third win in a row in the rookie class, but it wouldn't come easy. He started ninth (last) and made his way through the field to get the win.
What a race the junior 1 class put on. Trent Willey led wire to wire, feeling the pressure from behind the entire distance. This race began with 14 green flag laps in a row as you could throw a blanket over the entire field. Great racing by these young drivers!!
Lauren Knowles got her third win in the junior 2 class. She is looking tough to beat in this highly competitive field of karts.
In adult 1 action Robbie Walls got his first win of the year coming off turn four. He won by 1/2 a kart length at the stripe. This class is full of good competition and they are really turning some fast laps.
Chris Watson got his first win in the adult 2 class. He took the lead around halfway and held on to get the checker. Rumor has it he is still celebrating!!
Congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone for a great night of fun!

Attention Club Milton Drivers:
Everyone must have a full rear bumper as stated in the rules. It must cover both rear tires. This will help prevent wheel hopping.
Spread the word to everyone. All have been warned enough. Thanks.

This Nick Davis in the Rookie class has been mopping these kids up, looks like to me someone needs to be in in Junior 1, Rumor has it he already runs that at other tracks.

This Sunday May 28th it's RACE #1 of the OUTLAW KART CUP SERIES!!
Gates open @ 4:00pm with drivers metting at 5:30pm. A little earlier than normal due to the large turnouts and to make sure we are done well before 11:00pm.
We will run heats for all classes except pee-wee(3 1/2hp) and consis when needed. Also, there will be junior and adult dash races.
I guess the questions will be: What cup? And is it half full or half empty?
Come on out and see!!

WOW!! How about them outlaws!!
With a huge turnout Sunday everything went smooth and there was some excellent racing also.
A big class of pee-wees led to having two features. Brad Cabe won the first and Zach Bullis got the win in the second one.
Getting his first win in the rookie class was Cody Hopkins.
In junior one action, it was Dylan Evans picking up the cup as well as his second win of the year.
Lauren Knowles held off a tough field for her fourth win of the year in the junior two class. She was all smiles as she can add the cup to her collection!
In adult one, it was Quinton Hall taking the cup as well as his second win. He was hooked up and fast all the way around!
The adult two race was shaping up to be a good one when racin Jason pulled it in with the lead. This gave Mike Ellerbusch the top spot and he wouldn't let go as he went on to pick up the cup and his first win.
Junior dash winner - Lauren Knowles Adult one dash - Cameron Hall Adult two dash - Racin Jason Wyatt
Congrats to everyone who took home the first series of cups!
See you this Friday nite. Drivers meeting @ 6:45

Trey Im sorry for being so rough this weekend. But I think it made everyone realize that people need to stop being so rough before someone gets hurt. Also the fighting needs to stop. I also realized that it doesnt matter how big your motor is if you dont have a good driver to use there head. But I hope that everyone will continue racing at Milton Speedway and there will be less drama and everything.
Congratulations to Lauren Knowles!!!! Way to have that 5th win girl!!!!

I agree that this weekend showed how rough the racing has become and what happened in the Junior 2 class should have never happened...someone could have really gotten hurt in that situation but besides that it was all good racing. And i agree that its not all motor either its how you drive and if your kart is setup right for the track. I would also like to say congratulations to Lauren Knowles and I'm glad she did not get hurt...

June 16th winners were:
pee-wee #1- Mikayla Johnson #2- Zach Bullis
Rookie- Trey Sapp Jr. 1- Dylan Evans Jr. 2- Lauren Knowles Adult 1- Robbie Walls Adult 2- Jason Wyatt
At club milton speedway we aim to provide a safe fun place to race for kids and their families to have a good time watching. We will be introducing alot of drivers to the BLACK FLAG the next race. Maybe watching the other kids race and have fun from the infield will help teach them to respect the others and the cost of racing. So parents, please pass this on to your kids so they have a heads up on what will happen to them. It's not going to take much for them to become a spectator. Also, kids will start paying the price for their parents actions. So if parents cant get along, their kids will be the ones hurt by it. We will explain to the kids that their parents are the reason that they were black flagged. We are serious. This is for fun and for the kids to have fun. Let's keep it that way!

trey i have a question for you. you say that the black flag will be waved now. will you be giving the black flag to the ones that are pushing other cars around the track because i feel that that is not safe someone could really get hurt that way. It also messes the leader or whoever it is being done to by making them spin out on the track and the only way this can be prevented is by break checking alot more or someone speeks up and addresses the issue or the black flag is waved to the ones doing it. because if feel if u have the ablity to push someone around the track you have a fast car and should be able to pass someone cleen without being rough. thank you and please respond

There are numerous reasons the black flag could or will be waved. We could talk for hours about different situations on the race track. We do the best job we can considering these karts are turning laps at eight seconds. This a action packed track and alot of fun to race on, but it tough on us to see everything. I have never used a black flag because I believe kids should be given every chance to learn on the track as possible. However, that is going to change. The rough riding and intentional beating and banging is going to stop. Throwing up the hands is going to stop and parents bickering is going to stop. I could go on and on. Myself, and a few good friends built this place to have a good time and I thank them for their help. I open up my property to over 400 people every other Friday (for free) so everyone can enjoy watching the races. I enjoy promoting and flagging and watching these kids develop into good drivers. I DON'T enjoy bad attitudes and pouting and parents bickering. BOTTOM LINE: IT WILL STOP! The BLACK FLAG is the first step. When I stop having a good time so will everyone else! So please let's keep it fun for everyone.
