Mamakin I saw the crate late model feature on 9/29/06 and I saw the bad restart you were refering to but what turned my stomach more then anything was what the 100 car did to Ross Robinson the guy had a good car and was in contention all race long until the 100 car came up and ended his night . I am not quite sure what he was doing but it was not thinking thats for sure ...

He stole the race from the 12. He jumped everytime. They black flag guys for stupid sh*t but won't throw him to the rear. I can't figure it out. I think Charlie has his favorites and Lou has his. Not much you can do. Lots of bent up cars in that class. The guys in that class drive like they are going for 10,000. to win. They need more spotters. They would be able to see who rough drives and who is just minding their own business trying to have a good time. Start suspending the rough drivers for a week. Let them cool down. Those cars have to cost a lot of money to fix. I don't think that just because they are crates make them any cheaper to fix. Don't know. Just a fan in the stands.

This is not Nascar, where you can not pass until the flagstand. Opie tells us everyweek at the drivers meeting that he starts the race not us. When the green light comes on thats when I go, sorry if your driver was sleeping on restarts. AS far as taking out Ross, I believe I was in front of him when he crashed or spun and I don't think I backed in to him. I race people just as clean as they race me.

I SAY YOU JUMPED, haven't watched the tape yet but will retract if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure when you start 3rd you take a nose lead on 2nd place car, and single file IS SUPPOSED TO BE NOSE TO TAIL so when green comes on you should have to pull out and pass! not just throttle past! I think you took a little more! my opinion nothing personal. I just felt you jump started more than once. anyway I'm over it, and at least they diddn't close wawa over it ;D

How bout the car that sat on the front stretch on fire for 10 min before anybody came over and put them out... that was the most rediculous thing i have ever seen i mean the mans stuff is on fire and the fire company is sitting in the infield with their thumb up their ass and then u have dopy opie come out of the flag stand looking like a jackass as normal i think all drivers should think about carrying a fire extinquisher after that incident cause heaven for bid u actually need the fire crew to come put it out...people complain about the wrecker and fire crew at delmar sometimes but at least they are on top of u as soon as u stop when something like that happens

Well that was a communication breakdown, the fire crew responded pretty quick once they knew they were needed. Unless you seen the flame he looked like stalled car on track, he wasn't involved in that caution. We used to carry one in the cars "mandatory"but everyone clamped and taped'em in so good you couldn't use them anyway. The main thing is HE WAS OK and anything lost in the 1min extra can be replaced

Don't take anything away from the fire crew. I'm sure they would have gotten there sooner if they knew the car was on fire. They are professionals. They are also trained. Fire fighters put their lives on the line everyday. Maybe the staff at the track should start them over to every accident until we know that everything is ok. Also remember there are a lot of clowns driving race cars out there. I would hate to see one of the fire fighters get hurt because of some clown not paying attention. More spotters? Like I said above. Send the reckless drivers to the pits. Give them a week off.
And like I said. You jumped! Like several others have said.
