SUPER LATES GO FOR $4,900.00 FOR 49 LAPS , LOU BETTER DO A COUPLE OF THINGS (NOTHING MAJOR)
1 A LITTLE BETTTER LIGHTS OUT THE TRACK (theses rent floods are working good but needs maybe 3 more of them0 2 work some on the pa system in the pits some. 3 And with that amount of money on the line they may want to clean up some pit area, unless they are going drop a support class for that night. because that kind of purse is going to bring in some strangers to Georgetown for that show trust me. I'LL HAVE IT ON EVERY BOARD SOUTH, WEST AND NORTH REAL SOON.
ALSO AND MOST INPORTANT HAVE PLENTY OF FOOD (LOL)

YEAH THATSRIGHT, NOT ONLY IS H TOWN RUNNING THE MACS RACE BUT PITTSBURGH IS RUNNING THEIR 18,000 TO WIN PITTSBURGHER 100. SO EVERYONE SHOULD ALREADY KNOW TO BE PREPARED NOT TO EXPECT ALOT OF THE TOP DOGS FROM MD,WVA ETC. BUT YOU NEVER CAN TELL PAY YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR CHANCES AS ALL 3 WILL BE GOOD RACES....ROB

Why doesn't Georgetown have a race like this in October. Hagerstown running MACS that weekend isn't going to help the car count at Georgetown. Just my thought

Just a thought. If they want to see a big field of cars from everywhere, why not change the date? What would be wrong with the late models on the 29th instead? 2 straight weeks of Mods wouldnt be wrong, would it? it would free ups some dates and we would probably get huge fields in both divisions. As I said, just a thought.

To go along with Andy's list (Oct racing) this is list for Sept racing.
Carolina Clash September2006 Sept. 2, Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway, $5,000 Sept. 9, Laurens County Speedway, Laurens, S.C., $4,000 Sept. 16, Wythe Raceway, Rural Retreat, Va., $4,000 Sept. 30, Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway, $4,000
Mid-Atlantic Championship September2006 Sept. 1, Lernerville Speedway, Sarver, Pa., $5,000 Sept. 2, Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park, $5,000 Sept. 3, Portsmouth (Ohio) Raceway Park, $10,000 Sept. 22-23, Hagerstown (Md.) Speedway, $13,000.00
Lucas Oil September2006 Sept. 1, Virginia Motor Speedway, Saluda, Va., $10,000 Sept. 2, Tyler County Speedway, Middlebourne, W.Va., $25,000 Sept. 3, Tyler County Speedway, Middlebourne, W.Va., $25,000 Sept. 15-16, West Virginia Motor Speedway, Mineral Wells, W.Va., $20,000
World of Outlaws September2006 Sept. 3, Tri-City Speedway, Franklin, Pa., $10,000 Sept. 4, Tri-City Speedway, Franklin, Pa., $10,000 Sept. 22-23, Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Imperial, Pa., $18,000
Unsanctioned and independent events
September2006 Sept. 1, Bedford (Pa.) Speedway, $5,000 Sept. 1, Dublin (N.C.) Motor Speedway, $4,000 Sept. 2, Wayne County Speedway, Orrville, Ohio, $5,000 Sept. 3, Selinsgrove (Pa.) Speedway, $10,000 Sept. 4, Bedford (Pa.) Speedway, $5,000 Sept. 4, Wayne County Speedway, Orrville, Ohio, $5,000 Sept. 9, Roaring Knob Raceway Park, Markleysburg, Pa., $4,000 Sept. 22-23, Pittsburgher 100, Pittburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Imperial, Pa., TBA Sept. 23, Skyline Speedway, Stewart, Ohio, $5,000 Sept. 28-30, Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, $35,000 Sept. 29-30, Winchester 200, Winchester (Va.) Speedway, $10,000
So after looking at the schedule of the other tracks and series I think Georgetown and Lou had 2 chioces "LITTLE TO NONE" that would not conflict with another track, and here again they didn't have the luxuary of the early season schedules as to not schedule against a big show. Remember they started racing 26 May. This the first year and maybe if they get to run next year a better schedule will come forward. I feel they did the best they could considering everything that is involved. At least they headed in the right direction.
