After talking to some racer's and being around the scene for awhile I'm just curious on what we could do to make karting better. Would one series at night help the Club member's and the sport.

Have you ever heard the phrase "Money Makes The World Go Around"? I would rather race for something more than just points.

jhracing25, that's what the racer's would get at the end of year of the point series just like anything else. If I was racing it would'nt be for the money but because I wanted to. I would have a snowballs chance in he@@ to win the money against the big budget teams out there so I would just not compete in it especially if it cost me 3 times as much to enter it

Question was what is good for the sport. Not what is good for pee wee. But like everything else it will be decided by a small few with alterior motives. Because they can't win on their own. So they stack the deck with bad rule packages, bad class structures, no tech for the chosen few and if that don't work the'll just throw out the ones they can't beat for cursing. Meanwhile we have board members that beat the snot out of people with no repercussions. What would be good for go karting would be a race track with 1 owner, no board, no politics.

Get kart shops out of the tower and off the board. If it keeps on we will be racing at little cathells kart track

Fact: There are no Kart shops in the tower. I think the club member's that show up to the club meeting usually held in the winter select or vote on officer's & board member's

I was at those meeting u speak about. I wasnt into karting long enough to know who was who but from what i hear around the track outlaw just took hp speeds spot. I dont really care either way, i come to race and have fun. To much drama if you ask me. You ask all season what can we do to make the sport better. I know, just keep doing a great job with the track surface and let the race director handle the show.

No one cares whos in the tower pee wee. Board of directors makes rules and final decisions. When it suits them anyway. Let's review the sitting board,
Scott bullock, Jurys out on his affiliation but has missed half the board meetings this year.
Richard Carey, kart shop affiliation, Son sponsored by Outlaw Motorsports 3+ years
Chris Neibert, Kart shop affiliation, son sponsored by - Outlaw Motorsports. 2+ years
Kenny Ayers, Kart shop affiliation, sponsored by Brian Bradford Racing. 5+years
Bud steele, Kart shop affiliation, niece sponsored by Outlaw Motorsports. 4+years
Matt Aichinger, Kart shop affiliation, Matt is a authorized dealer for Charger Racing chassis and sells karting parts.
Carol Droney, Kart shop affiliation, owner of Outlaw Motorsports.
Now pee wee, surely you can explain?

powermouth, the club has been around for year's and the kart shop's are a big reason for that. No matter who the board member's are they are always going to be affiliated with atleast one of the local kart shops, Example: I'm affiliated with all of them because we talk to each other, I've purchased parts from them through the years, & my nephew build's engines for one of them. As a board member I would speak & act on my own behalf in what I believe is in the best interest of the club and it's member's as a whole. If it was'nt for the love of karting that the kart shops still have to keep their shops open, karting probably would'nt be surviving around here. Hope this helps!!!!

Even though when I race it's only for the thrill of it, I still like the point series that DKC was working on to try this season for the karter's that were going to race at their track.

Here is an idea why don't the club start working on a series like DKC was going to run this past year?

Oh ya almost forgot........ Heard our president has decided to step down. Don't worry it's not a rumor, Its been confirmed. why not let the club know? Maybe there's an honest person out there that would like to see the club do better and would take the job. Oh ya.....that's why.
