If Charlie does not make the purse bigger for big blocks and Late models he is going to loose everything. Last nignt at Delmar there was only 10 late models there and only 14 big blocks there.

If DIS pays more money, where will it come from? Pit fees? Spectator admission? I am sure it would be great for everyone if the purses were bigger, but the money has to come from somewhere. Example: Bridgeport URC show - spectator 20.00 DIS URC show 14.00 Are you willing to pony up the extra 6.00 (per person) to support a larger purse? I don't pretend to know the answer, but I think the days of an expensive weekly headline class are numbered. I believe at VMS the top weekly class is a limited late model with the SLMs performing on a very limited schedule. As much as I hate to say it, I now think that this may be the way to go. A limited type class(es) - can we say crate classes. Basically, hobby racing with the limited sponsorships that are available in the area. Just my 2 cents worth.
