Why would guys travel out to Winchester for 2000k to win race but the same teams didn't support the georgetown race that payed the same, I know it cost a good bit in fuel not to mention the time to go to Winchester. The track has been good this time and more lights in the turns , but some teams will travel but not come there or others complain about the pay at DIS but only race there I just don't get it.Andy haus towed 4hrs to get there hats off to them.

tearemup, you bring up a very interesting point. One that I have pondered several times myself. I don't know the answer. At one time both tracks thrived but now everyone says what a great track Georgetown is but won't support it but will go to DIS and do nothing but complain. Just my opinion but I think with the sporadic action at Georgetown they would rather support DIS and at least have one local track to race at on a weekly basis. I love Georgetown but once High School Football season starts I go to football games. They used to switch to Sunday afternoons this time of year. I would just be happy to have some kind of regular racing there on a consistant basis. With Big Blocks!
