Certain farewells can be harder than others. When we are to part with friends and know in our hearts that somewhere in the future that we will meet again, the farewell can be bittersweet. Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort our tomorrow. Remember a man who served his God, his country, his community, and most of all, his family. He has achieved success, who worked hard & lived well, laughed often, and loved much; who enjoyed the trust of women, the respect of men, and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction. Rest in Peace, John
