The Officials of The Modified Tour, Inc. mourn the loss of Roy D. "Dewayne" Turner. Dewayne was the father and car owner of BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour driver, Mike Turner, and father of Matt Turner, a crewman for the Rod George Sprint Car team. Dewayne was just 54 years old when he suffered an apparent heart attack while at work as a Road Foreman for Summit Township.
Dewayne was a loyal supporter of the BRP/Hoosier Tire Modified Tour, and he provided valuable input the the Board on a number of important issues. He will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 4 and from 7 until 9 on Thursday, at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham Street, Butler, PA 16001. Services will be held Friday at 10.

It expands the profile for this exciting brand of motorsports throughout the the tri-state area.
