Paul McGinley earned the pole position the hard way. Starting in the rear of heat #1 in a 12 car heat. McGinley drove his car straight to the front taking the win in the heat and earning the pole position .With Steve White picking up the heat #2 win. McGinley new he had tough competition for the start of the race. As the green flag flew McGinley drove off on the start and pulled 3 car lengths on the 18 car field but would quickly be erased by a caution this would happen about 6 times in 5 laps each time no car would be able to get to McGinley. The race took shape with a long green flag run and we saw Young James Hill work his way to second spot and put pressure on McGinley. For several laps Hill was working on McGinley as a Laped car of Kerry King slowed in turn 3 McGinley was sideways to miss King And King spun and collected HIll ending the night for both cars as the field was reset .McGinley 1st Tim White 2nd and Ty Short 3rd driving car owners Rick Nash Horns Machine Shop #27 With a 600cc engine in third the restart once again saw McGinley pull Away. With 3 to go McGinley's handle went away Quickly and the car became very loose and Tim was all over the back bumper but ran out of time and Paul McGinley took his 3rd TUSA Win in a row and the $1,000 pay day .Great job Paul . Also would like to give a shout out to Ty Short great job with a 600cc.
