Might want to try to get there early each week, to see what rules and regulations they will be enforcing that night lol. Don't really know if there is a written set of rules, but would like to see it if there is such a thing

They basically do not care if you come every week or have a micro from Bridgeport if you come once you are treated like royalty if you faithfully come every week pay for 6 pit passes and 4 grandstand passes 152.00 EVERYWEEK the say screw you !!!!!!!

Since the racetrack is no longer called DMP, (it is now Middleford Speedway), the written procedures are no longer valid either. Middleford Speedway is now in charge and DMP (which is now a motocross track in Easton, MD) is not in charge of any prices, parking spots or procedures for the track. Maybe some didn't know what they had until it was gone. If you have questions for the track, call Paige Lynch.

Buck & Pam Buckholz we know its middleford also Buck not being smart but we didn't make Walt lose track and I have said I wish he still owned it and never lost it I was a big DMP supporter but track changing hands was a lame excuse for "BOTH" party's to stick it to ALL the regular people and that my friend is a FACT !!!!!

I believe that many people are now realizing what they had was better than this. I too wait each week to see how the dedicated regulars are going to get screwed because face it every week it is something. The pit parking last week amazed me. I didnt expect that. Many people angry. If all the angry people stick to their word and do not come back next year .....well maybe the owner needs to give Walt a call to see if he wants to still buy the track. Things are not looking good when you piss off all your regulars. Do you think the micros are going to support you all season? NOT

I don't really give a d**n who owns it, who runs it, or who works there!!!!! They need to set up rules or something needs to be posted not just with the racing but for the spectators as well....., If i'm going to screwed i would atleast like to know how bad!!!!

Well it will be bad and when you find your rules your looking for I BET they "WILL NOT" be enforced just like DMP own rules were not enforced by them. And Middleford is quoting DMP rules when you ask them something. So its a wonder people aren't going crazy . I'm sure most people would leave but most of the kids aren't old enough to race anywhere else and the track knows it. I mean I do not think in my professional opinion they are trying at all to make anybody happy they could car less.

well , to staert let me say that I am a new comer to middleford, well not really new I've been a spectator many times, but just got a car to race (d**n rain) any I spoke with Mr. Paige, and although I don't know all the details it seems that when he got the track he was left no info on anything and is just trying to keep things going. tracks cost alot to operate. inssurence alone is probably enough to nearly kill a small track like this, racing ins is crazy expensive.
maybe if everyone was to step back offer some help and work matters out with the track things could get better.
any time things don't go ones way , tnhen other gets a break, it understandable to feel that thier is specail treatment, lots of times it not what it seems.
I could be way out in left field, but if we are work together rather then tear eachother apart we could get a good working relationship with the track and officails.

I think Paige should get someone to direct the track, enforce rules for drivers & spectators and pretty much run the whole operation at Middleford. I don't think the owner should have to do it all. Paige is looking at his bills coming in when he invites racers from other states. I beleive he should be loyal to his loyal racers. I have heard so many people say how mad they were about last week & they have every right to be. Thank god its raining this week cause these people needed another week to cool off. Maybe by next weekend they will be ready to race & put the past behind them.

BUT !! Don't let Mr Paige Lynch give you a song and dance this is his" THIRD " time running this track he has been around the Middleford block for years. You can't work with someone who dose not ant care what we have to say really . BUT in my opinion Paige should give the race director full control over the operation on race days AS WELL as GIVE HIM THE POWER TO MAKE REASONABLE DICISIONS THAT WE ASK . Nobody in the pit area is looking for a free ride just some common courtesy and" consistent calls on the track" toward the WEEKLY RACERS we do not ask for much and most ask the same thing so all the car owners and drivers seem to be on the right page . I think the track should listen instead of using the" I rook it over in the middle of the year" crap the can sell it to someone else

B*tch, B*tch, B*tch, doesn't matter who runs it people just wannt to B*tch, I'm just glad we have a place to race.
As an observer this is what I've seen since July... The track has been maintained much better, which allows sometimes 2 and 3 wide racing making for a more competitive tack, I have been hearing that drivers have been going through less tires since this new improvement of the track. I have also noticed that the car counts are increasing too. It was nice to finally see a full pit last Sat. night for a change. I think that some of the racers should think about more important things that to complain about the track, it seems like a pathetic attempt to admit that they can't adapt to better conditions. I overheard Walt say that they only sold 5 parking spots this year, and as far as the gold cards go he couldn't meet his obligation and was supposed to refund money. As far as Sat. goes it looked like everyone had a place to park, it may have been one place to the left or right but everyone had a spot. Best of all, it was a great race and I can't wait to go back for more.

As far as Sat. goes it looked like everyone had a place to park, it may have been one place to the left or right but everyone had a spot. Best of all, it was a great race and I can't wait to go back for more. #1 if you think cars flipping over braking axels and micros braking of front wheels and a car knocking the whole front clip off ALL DUE TO THE massive ruts in the track is considered better maintained I don't know that theory All though just this last race it was better . # 2 car count only is up because bridgeport runs friday and we ran on Saturday and Delmar is also finished so their were a couple of Delmar cars their EVERYBODY knows that's why car count was up so you can give that ghost up !!!! Delmar gets 19 to 22 Mod-Lites EVERYEWEEK all 4 mod-lite classes at Middleford can't get that many even with Delmar closed !! "So ponder that over" #3 you are dead wrong and making that up about the parking spots I was with Buck in the beginning of the year and at least 12 people the 1st week paid for spots(he even had a chart of the pits and the spot #s on it) while I was talking to him. as I paid for 2 I have the canceled check to prove it !!! We paid for these spots "SO" if your late getting to the track "OR" their is a SPEACIAL SHOW you do not have to worry about a spot I GUESS I DONT HAVE A RIGHT TO B*TCH About it "PLEASE" !!!!!!!!#4 as far as the gold cards WALT that was just stealing BUT it would not cost page anything to honor it and take car of the guys who got screwed. let me say it again it would" not cost" him anything to take care of the 4 or 5 people. The only one who came back every week was Ricky Elliot so he didn't make the money anyway !!!! . And in closing I guess you don't have a race car or paid for a spot your just a watcher its also not just about the spots its about several issues from inconsistent calls to blaming the take over to not take care of his customers . I only hope that next year things will be better because I do love that track . And I will say again the race director is a great guy and I think by talking to him he CAN make most people happy if they give him the power .

WeeklyRacer I do agree. Also about the parking spots sold. I also witnessed around 12 being sold plus the 2008 champions all received a free spot" that was cool" this brings the total to around 20 guaranteed parking way off the 5 that Budweiser claimed he over heard !!!!!!

can I ask what the pit situation was that has everyone upset ? basically several people bought spots from Walt my check was written right to TUSA ! And we used them all year nobody saying anything and the Bridgeport crew rolled in taking up 5 parking spots I know were paid for they were told they could park anywhere and people who paid for them and Supported the track all year were told tough .

Does anyone know if they have made a decision to race tonight considering the 70% chance of rain?

I wouldn't count on anything tonight , just with all the rain , the track is probably saterated and won't be able to be prepped for racing.
but check with the track tobe sure
