From; Stacy Roberts - Its sad to see a fun filled racing season come to an end . I believe that I was a part of the best rookie class EVER ! In the State of Delaware in any type of racing. Everybody in this 2009 rookie class will be racing for a long time. Its hard to believe you can put 5 first time drivers together(Myself,Chase Biron,Zac Weller,Nick Nash and Brandon Watkins) and race a whole season very competitive with hardly any incidents or mistakes. I think we all should give our selfs a pat on the back. I can already hardly wait Until next year . Now I would like to thank all the following people for helping me. I figured the best way was to do it in alphabetical order for the most part with the following exceptions. 1st obviously I would like to thank my Grandfather Ron Roberts Jr for believing enough in me. Never driving anything before to buy a new race car and supplying a trailer and a tow vehicle as well as supplying us with most everything we needed. All we had to do pretty much was pay our way in . Next my father Ron Roberts III for telling my grandfather I wanted to race and for working on the car and driving all over for me to race were we could go and afford too also for working on the car and welding rub rails on while he was sick and taking me to Middleford and Delmar when he was sick. Next would be North East Modified Lites Al White came to my father at Delmar we didn't even know him and he said" she's doing good but you need to do this and that to help stabilize the car for her" we did and he was right . Then this past week on 9-27 Al said if you want to WIN at Middleford drop the car off at my shop and let Steve set up the car and scale it so we did. Just the steering alone went from needing two hands to two fingers to steer. Unfortunately I did not get to race in the feature as a result of my cousin driving in the rookie class and the car was crashed out but it felt really good in the heat race. I just wish I had a chance to race this week . Also a huge thanks to Al and Steve White for believing in me and helping me get into a 2010 LIGHTNING RACE CAR !! ---- Now everybody else that helped at Middleford and or Delmar . In order Donny Ackenbrack, John Charron of the 978 race team, Ed Cole, Ricky Elliot, Don Hughes, Danny Martin, Paul McGinley 978 race team, James Mckinney, Scott Richards, Scott Tessman, Jimmy Wills. I hope I didn't forget anyone. OH YEA THE GUYS BACK AT THE SHOP !!!. Also the whole rookie and Jr mod-lite class for safe and clean driving in order - Chase Biron- Josh Clark- Derek Magee- Nick Nash- Brandon Watkins- Adam Webber- Zac Weller
