The 55-year-old dirt oval, founded by Earl Baltes and sold to two-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart in 2004, is a half-mile dirt oval with 24-degree banking in turns, 8-degrees on straightaways that holds more than 23,000 fans.

Winning at a track where he's admittedly struggled for years, Bart Hartman of Zanesville, Ohio, dominated the 39th annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway for a $42,000 victory.
The son of the late five-time USAC champion Butch Hartman took the lead from Jimmy Owens on the 20th lap and fought off a late challenge from Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine, Iowa for one of the richest victories of his career.
Hartman, who has a best finish of 12th in three career World 100 starts (1998-'00), is the first home-state driver to win the World 100 since Donnie Moran in 1997.
