What a load of crap that was! The rev box isn't gonna gain you much at all. The real deal is what is in the motors and don't tell me there aren't guys that have had their motors cheated up. If your gonna check something make it count. Look at lap times, some of these guys are 3-4 mph faster than the rest. Yes I know handling and driver ability has alot to do with this also. Watch closely and see who can blow by most cars to get to the front and its funny that some haven't run as good since the tech rumor came out. HMMMMMMMMM motor change or holding back? By the way thanks for keeping us there for an extra two hours for absolutley nothing!!!!

What i don't understand is that some of the cars would not hit the 3000 chip. They were allowed to rewire there boxes so they would. If they did not hit the chip in tech they should have been DQ.

what everyone needs to do if they want to stop this bs is when the crates come out on the track everyone get up and go to their cars, if u r a driver demand something be done or refuse to race.if there isnt any cars or fans someone will step up and start teching these cars like they should be teched.

as much money as the track has made over the years.pull a couple motors every week at random and send the motors away and have them checked. i feel sorry for ryan walls be cause he got screwed.everyone in the pits knew that motor out of the grotto pizza car was a stroker motor or cheater motor whatever u call it everyone knew, now lets see 3000 dollar crate motor 5000 fine 3500 new crate motor13,000 d**nthat killed the budget for the year. sorry it happened to an honest driver. something else funny when jack mullins got out of modifieds a man tried to buy his 3 year old motor for the price of a new one and he turned it down. if it was a legal motor most people would have took the money and got a fresh motor and sold the 3 year old one?

they do need to pull motors.same people finish up front everyweek. you may say thats because they know the track but i dont get how you can come up in like 2 laps and get the lead and have pretty much a good size lead on everyone using the top groove

That was a total JOKE. All they did was pull the chip and stick in a 3000. Anybody who knows the deal knows how the cheater boxes work and that test wont show anything. They are made to pass a test like that. I was offered one for the price of 299.00 back in february by one of the major parts suppliers.(not going to name names. But everyone that needs to know, knows) They didnt check any seals, Most didnt go accross the scales. Im not going to mention names here but I know of at least 2 cars that failed, the boxes were rewired then passed. I witnessed this with my own eyes. The point is they FAILED as they were raced so intentional or not they should have been DQ'd. I also saw 2 cars pull out of the infield and into the back side of the pits after we were told to stay put and with our cars. So far on the DIS website there are no mentions of DQ's. This has just shown us that the rules dont mean crap to anyone! Pull your chips, pull your weight(just stay out of the top 5) cheat up your motor, buy the shocks you want, Dope your fuel and have at it!

You know what I don't get?... some of you label all the top runners as cheaters... you have no idea how much time or effort or even money has been spent to get there cars to the front. yes, you can spend money "legally" to free your car up so it rolls a lot easier. you go to the races to see a good show. We, (some of us, or however many of us) work hard all week to give you one... I don't know how much other people work on their cars, but my wife can tell you I spend the time with my car that is needed. I am sure that many of your top runners do the same... for those that don't run up front.... is it time?is it money? is it ability? I can't tell you that... but I bet it's one of them. I'll also say this.. I have a motor that has 4 yrs on it, and have a brand new one in the floor. I am not changing it til it blows up! 15 lap features, 6000 RPM chips, This thing is just getting broke in!!! so, I go to the races and do well, my hard work pays off, and now you call me a cheater.. I know.. no one likes a winner... Jeff Gordon showed everyone that. So what should we do? you want us to quit racing when we finally figure this thing out? hang it up when we get a few wins? Slow our cars down so everyone else can catch up? drive with one eye closed??? I hate getting on this board, because it seems like no good comes out of it. You people just amaze me sometime.
"Few" people truly know who is cheating and who isn't. I often wonder, but I put my faith in that if they are, the track will eventually catch them. And then I go on and race again next week.

Well said Joe. And to you to cratedriver. I have seen the boxes for sale on 4m that claim to do exactly what you are saying. That being said I'm not sure how much of a difference those few exrtra RPM's matter. These motors ( if they have not been cheated ) fall flat on there face after 6300 or so. The real deal is checking inside the motors and not just doing it once a year. They need real and serious tech every week. At least something! Then people like Joe would not have to listen to the BS about cheating every week.

ROBERT FISHER, why do u get on here and state a bold face lie.if someone came to me and wanted to buy a 3 year old motor for the price of a new one u better belive i would take the money and run because of someone else stupidity.i have NEVER had a illegal motor and never will.i have never understood how someone can feel good about winning when they know they are cheating.if u must know the motor that was in my mod got a cracked block due to our own stupidity of not getting all the water out b4 winter came.now that motor was sold and what they did with it is there business.the motor that went into the Lm was a new engine that was delivered to kpr and kenny put it in.that motor got teched 4 times the year we won the championship and passed every time.KNOW your facts b4 u state lies.i do agree with you that they should pull motors and check cars ALOT better than they do.u would probably find out that the front runners are legal from doing there homework and hard work and the people trying to catch them will be the ones with illegal work done(motors, shocks, fuel, msn box)just my opinion.i belive in karma and feel the ones(if any) are cheating it will come out sooner or later.

No one doubts how much time it takes if you properly maintain a car. We put as much time in as anybody else. However, you don't always have the perfect setup, no drivers run the perfect lap everytime yet some cam fly through the field no matter where they start. Who cares about the rev box, let every car take them out. The same cars will still be the fastest. I know for a fact there are illegal motors out there. We will not cheat! I guess some guys don't mind carrying the checkered flag knowing they havemore horsepower than most cars out there. We would rather finish 2nd than to win cheating. If you have ever tested a car with and without a chip you know it doesn't give you any advantage. Charlie please go into some motors and give the honest guys a chance.

Do what they do in the rest of the country. Tech the top 5 before being allowed in their pit. Pump the motor for displacement, pull a valve cover and check valve lift and valve timing, pull the box and bench test it with MSD software, take a fuel sample at the carb and check the seals. It takes the about 20 minutes a car to do this. Do the top 5 EVERYTIME and 2 at random throughout the rest of the field.
