The DMP website now has the current 2009 points posted.
Can someone please explain the calculation/distribution of points for a race on Firday night at the oval track?
Thanks for any insight.

How did the 1 car in the jr class retain his points when he happen to be blacked flagged. I remember the Wilson girl lost her points when she was black flagged last year. Did the rules change or what? ?

The winner gets 120pts, 114 for 2nd, 109 for third, and -2 points each down the line. The pole sitter from qualifying gets 10 points.

The points listed are from before this past race. Number 1 was DQ and didn't get any points for that race. They just haven't been updated yet. Same ole stuff, relax and breathe. This kid will definately get his punishment, you can count on that.

Hillfan, You are incorrect. Those points are from May 22 which was the night of the DQ. If you look you will see that the 8h has no points listed because he was not there that night.

Rules are rules and should apply to all not just a select few! I believe that was why the Wilson girl did not come back the rest of last year.
