As most of you know due to the boards decision to allow a competitor to race after his/fathers actions the previous week I have stepped down as President of this Kart Club. Buddy Bloom as Vice President has been notified of this and is ready for the responsiblity. So good luck and remember you are playing against a stacked deck!!
Sincerely, P.W.

PeeWee,
I want to thank you and your wife for your dedicated service to the US13 Kart Club. I have never seen two people so dedicated to karting as the two of you Decisions must be made that may not sit well with everyone. Poular decisions are not always right and right decisions are not always popular. I have been in your position many times and felt the same way you do. I still believe the board has members who want to do what's right for the membership. I wish you would take some time to think about your decision to resign and possibly reconsider that decision. If you decide resignation is the right thing for you to do, I respect that decision and again thank you for your dedicated service.

If I'm WKA member in good standing then every track that I race at that uses WKA rules apply especially to me but I need to also follow any other rules the track has. This rule for consecutive race weeks off for actions at the races have been in place for sometime now. I hope the racers that have been effected by enforcing this rule in the past get an explanation of what's going on. I saw that Mr. Gordon and his family were back and it was good to see them return to race after this same rule was enforced with him. I would like to thank him for respecting the rule and welcome him back
Sincerely, PWEE

what you saw at dmp wed nite was the board members representing the membership of the club in a discussion with walt breeding on what would be the best for the club and dmp..not a protest by any stretch of the imagination. what you saw at delmar sat morn. was the eligible members of the board, some excused themselves from a vote due to what could be percieved as a conflict of interest, not backing up the race director and a decision he had made previously, if the board will not back the race director he felt there was no reason for him to continue. dont put all this on peewee,he did alot more than most to get the place ready for you to show up and race then you will ever imagine. were you there working on that track tues, wed, thurs, fri evenings?... i didnt see you there the nights i was there.............

I did get paid for some of the work I did at the track, it's not all volunteer. The club put me in a position to go to Walt because the club told me at a driver's meeting that they were not racing there for the state race due to safety. You have only seen the mild side of Peewee. You would have liked me to stay around for your state race for what reason??? The club has not liked anything I've done so I'm doing you a favor! It would be nice if you would have the facts right when they pertain to me.

Dear defan, I've walked away from the club because of my own issue's with myself, the club, and the board. My goal was to bring back clean racing and get rid of rough riding. That's why I accepted being president and that's why I tried flagging. I wanted a track that you could race three or four wide on with out hitting each other or shooting of the track like a bottle rocket when you go into the turn. That's why I tried doing the track. I have been unsuccessful in these area's mostly by my own mistakes but some came from trying to overturn decision's that we as a board should have not been involved in. I want to thank Mike Mason for all his help and the job he does as the race director. I also would like to thank Buddy Bloom for stepping up to be President and getting things back in order to race this week. Defan, hopefully you will continue racing at Delmar for years to come and enjoy it. I also believe Middleford will be another good track to race at. It takes time and money to get things completed. Thanks for the kind words.

I would like to know what is going to be done about the racing surface? jlm I was out to the track Thursday night, Duane and Bert have done a great job on getting the track ready. I was going to go out Wednesday night but I wanted to watch the prelude to the dream. All the work that went on to get the track ready for the prelude was a good example of what all track's have to do each and every week to get ready. The benefit race should be very exciting tomorrow night and the racer's are going to put on one heck of a show for all of us!!
