For anybody interested Potomac will run DIS rules for there four Crate Late Model races. Don't know about tires. They still have not put that on the website. Practice is Sunday March 16th. Schedule is on their website. www.potomacspeedway.com/

My source on Potomac has sent this back with some info I hope will be useful for you guys?
"The crate cars will appear on April 25, May 30, June 13 and July 25. Delaware rules will apply with the 602 motor rule. However, I'm not sure about the tires, but I would have to assume American Racers because that's what they're allowed to run in Delaware. I don't think Rick Jones (promoter) would make them buy Hoosier's for "invitational" events."

I got an email from the tech guys son. It will be DIS rules for tires as well. If you plan on going to the practice on the 16th you may want to bring something a little harder. I'm sure it being a daytime deal the track will dry out and get black after a while.

Call Denise at the track for info on purse. I honestly don't know. As far as tech they know what to look for as far as chips, shocks, rocker arms and DIS seals. I doubt they are gonna tear any motors open. Who's gonna go cheat a motor just to run four races this year though? ( maybe thats a dumb question ) Anyway it's a fun high banked track that offers something a little differnet for a few nights this year. Gear will be in the 5.97 range.
