Thanks for the update, but I need Help on the Point Leaders that were posted today on DIS. Rules and Regulations for 2007 under Late Models on page 5-All Classes-#1, I quote " A driver must race in 3 feature events before he can obtain a point average. Since none of the drivers have races 3 features this season, how can there be a point listing on Dis Web as of 4/28/07?

Simple, the starting line-ups for these first weeks are determined by 1) the numbers of features ran (2) points avg. inverted from 65 up, and (3) those drivers with less than 65 pts. That's why you'll see guys like Donald Lingo start in the middle of the field and have someone like Drury (72) on point for this week in the first heat. For the feature, they'll (Delmar officials) take the top 5 from each heat and place them according to the same rules above. Hope that helps!!!

If this is correct, then someone needs to go back and figure points for the first three races. According to the rule thu there should still be no points listings. Points should and have in the past, start after this week.

Please excuse the old woman's brain cramp, I thought last week was included and could not come up with any figures. Now I got it. SORRY

also, what you are referring to "point averages" (are only used in figuring starting line-ups). what you see on the web site is point standings... accumulated points for each driver
