Octoberfest 350 live audio webcast this weekend from Hagerstown

SELINSGROVE, PA— The Dirt Track Channel will broadcast the 23rd annual Octoberfest 350 with live flag-to-flag coverage this weekend at at thedirttrackchannel.com/Webcast.html.
The broadcast, free of charge and registration, from Frank Plessinger’s Hagerstown Speedway, marks the sixth-straight year of the event being delivered live around the world by The Dirt Track Channel.
Saturday's webcast is tentatively set to begin at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The start time for Sunday’s broadcast will be posted on the web site that morning.
Qualifying and consolation events for the super late models, 410s sprint cars and big and small block modifieds takes place on Saturday. Sunday’s features will be 100 lap for the super late models and modifieds with the 410 sprint car going 50 laps.
"We always look forward to this weekend each year and to working with Mr. Plessinger's staff over the two-day period," Shawn Wood, President of The Dirt Track Channel said.
Joining Wood in the broadcast booth once again will be Lou Long, columnist for Area Auto Racing News and BRP Modified Tour President.
Also on Sunday during the broadcast, Area Auto Racing News columnist and assistant editor Jerry Reigle will be stopping by for an interview. Reigle is battling cancer.
The webcast wraps up the 2010 season for race broadcast on The Dirt Track Channel. Additional podcast will take place on the site during the offeason with coverage of open-wheel racing from New Zealand and Australia.
Dates have already been secured for 2011, the ninth season of live, free, streaming audio webcast from The Dirt Track Channel.
