Its not a new tire .....the tire rule has been the same forever..11 inch wide tread.its just some of the drivers have finally started to take advanage of that rule. Its a good rule we need all the help we can get to keep these cars under control........I got mine

The rule has always been 10 nobody knew it changed till this year when 1 knucklehead started to run them so we looked at the rules and it got changed by greg mitchell with no vote.It just so happen it was his car with them on first. And it is not safe for none of us because Hoosier recomened that the tire we are gone to be running be ran on a 12 to 14 inch rim not very safe in my opinion but when 1 person constantly tries to ruin the class everybody else has to do it to compete. You are gone to see more broken axles and flat tires which means more damaged cars.I will have mine on too but i don't like it or that the rule got changed with no vote.Been in the class since 1997 the rule just got changed last year with no vote.

IF THESE GUYS PUT THEM BIG LATEMODEL TIRES ON THEY ARE TAKING A VERY BIG CHANCE OF BREAKING AXLES AND THE CENTERS OUT OF WHEELS . YES THERE WILL BE SOME FLIPS . IM SURE AND THE GUYS THAT ARE STILL RUNNING THE 1/2 INCH STUDSA WILL BE THE FIRST TO BREAK AND ROLL ...BUT WHEN THEY GET IN THE CAR THEY TAKE THE CHANCE AND PUT EVERYONES LIFE IN JEPORADY ...beach tires..this ain't assateague

Greg Mitchell needs to be out of the club period. Everyone keeps complaining about him and his shady ways, so kick him out. He seems to be one the head ones ruining this club. I am glad we got out, this club is getting out of control, and will end up so costing so much money (like all the rest of the classes started) that everyone should just move into the modified class. And my question is for what? $45.00 dollars and a trophy? lol, come on now.....

we ran the same tire at potomac for years and never had a problem...pritty much all the same rules. car wt was the same . wheel base was the same. same motor. the 1st problem I ever had was at Georgetown broke a axle on 10 ench tires and rolled 6 times.......that wasnt because of the tires and wheels .that was because of a rough track......In my oppenion witch doesent mean alot if people are so worried about safety maybe we sould take a long hard look at when we run our feature. these cars dont need to be on the track when its at its worst.maybe we should work the track in or be the last show of the night. That alone would improve the saftey factor 10 times over. That tire is not going to break the axles that i have now .....but a tore up track just might

gregg and mell have been bending the rules and screwing up this club since he got out of the pen oh but mel was cheating with big bored out carbs before gregg was out.. this is supposed to be a ecconimical club but where at .these cars cost a ton of money from what ive seen .. you can buy a crate car and run under charlie with a rule and if you don't like it stay home . he don't change it to benefit himself . as long as presidents are also car owners good luck having rules in stone .yes gregg shoehorned in the tire rule for his benefit but i guess anyone could have run them but .. IS GREGG AND MEL GOING TO PAY MEDICAL BILLS AND DAMAGE THAT IS GOING TO BE DONE ON ALL THE OLDER CARS IN THIS CLASS THAT DOES NOT HAVE GOOD EQUIP..

I would pick the 64 car that would be me ,but the 3,14a,0,4,49,9,79 all have a good chance of winning. It should be some good hard racing. Also congratulations to Ryan Walsen who drives the #9 car who got married the last race.

well the way i see it if a man in this class is going to run them he has to be the one responsible to fix it if it breaks .and the inguries to a fan. or another driver because his small wheel studs broke or his axle . the rule says 11 inch tire so if you can run them and make them fit without problems more power to you . i will not be running the super late tires i have had enough bad problems with my motor tuner trying to savitage my motor on purpose but it backfired in his face .. so i do have a new fresh motor in it and ready to go ..im in this class for the fun and i know one or 2 of the drivers just want glory but hell you can't have your cake and eat it to all the time and this class needs other car owners or drivers to step up and spend more money and time on there cars ..time is won in the shop hell i won on 6 cylinders and got second on 6 cylinders but the car worked for a change ..thanks to my 13 yr old crew cheif and myself ..good luck to all the little lincoln drivers saturday nite

they should probably throw gregg back in the pin, he is just a lieing cheat which makes him and mel such a good combination. class ran better when he was behind bars, greyhound and shoc are scared of gregg and let him do what benefits him. as much rubbin goes in them races those thin walled slm tires will bust quick

I am amased by some of the postings on this particular thread. Some of them are accurate and others completely out to lunch and of coarse the never ending asumptions and opinions. I will tell you that I know all three of the directors in this class and they are "All" commited to making this a successful class. I will assure you that they are all 3, yes I said 3, are on the same page and will continue to seek the best interest of the club and it's members. To all the members and fans, I say, keep the faith, because the times, they are a changing.
