Thank you to the James family for at least keeping The Famous Georgetown Seedway open if only on a limited basis. I never miss an opportunity to go to Georgetown Speedway. Have been attending since the late 60's and have found the racing to be equal to or superior to many of the other tracks that I have attended throughout the eastern United States. I don't think $20 is unfair, quality comes with a price. I have always said that I would rather attend just 1 race at Georgetown than 10 races at any other track that I have attended! Again Thank You !!!

I agree quality comes at a price. So we should pay about ten cause the quality just aint there, its a dust ball from the first set of hotlaps on. Ive not had the oppertunity to travel to other tracks but from my experince in the past 25 years of delmar every sat night n gtown when they ran ive realized its a wast of money anymore. ive pitted for a number of cars in the past n u can ask the drivers. They will tell u n a new york minute it aint worth it, most of em anyway.count the number of locals there cause it wont come close to delmar. Local car count had gone down. I would love to see gtown improve. They say U get what u pay for so give us a show we can watch for 20$ a head. Or drop the price it aint exactly a top notch place

sittnon18s If you don't want to spent the money to go to Georgetown then shut-up. Nobody really cares if you go or stay home. Charlie has not seen that big of a crowd at Delmar in the last year and half. And Georgetown only has a hand full of races a year and 99% of the stands are full and sometimes standing room only. I know many nights of racing at Delmar was a total waste of money, watching paint dry was more exciting. What do you want for 20.00 you get URC Sprints Late Models Crate Lates and Modified ? Boy you cry like a woman JMO

If you do not like it than just don't go. Just curious why you don't go to other tracks? I will admit most of the better old tracks are gone but there are several close enough to venture to that do put on good shows. I go to Delmar on a regular basis because I like Racing and It is close. that does not mean that I like it. I refuse to lower myself to bad mouthing Delmar on a public web site, I will just say that I thank The Cathell family for providing a regular place to have dirt races here on Delmarva.

20$ dont sound bad, now take the family and for me it shoots up to 80$ there are other things we can do as a family for alot less.
