1st Annual G-Man Diamond State "50" Shoot Out
Delmar, DE…..The U. S. 13 Kart Club Track is winding down for the 2008 season. But there is plenty racing coming in October, that you won’t want to miss out on.
First up, this coming weekend kicks off the 1st Annual G-Man Diamond State "50" Shoot Out Saturday, October 11, 2008. The event kicks off Friday night with a regular club night of racing and added in the night's races, an Animal 375 class for qualifying & feature race. A big bonus, the track is allowing any that might want to get a feel of the track on Friday night non-member or members.
On Saturday, gates will open at 12PM, and practice starts at 5PM ((there will be 2 rounds of practice for all 5 classes). 1st Round of time trials will qualify the top 16 karts; 2nd Round of time trials will take the final 8 karts; the feature will start immediately following time trials.
Animal Heavy - 375 lbs - $2000 to Win
Entry Fee - $50.00
Fuel Fee - $7.50
50 Lap Feature which will included 2-25 lap segments with a 15 minute in between segments (you can change anything on the kart except Motor & Driver)
Stock Heavy - 375 lbs - $1000 to Win
Entry Fee - $30.00
Fuel Fee - $7.50
25 Lap Feature
Jr. I - 265 lbs (ages 7-10) - $500 to Win
Entry Fee - $30.00
Fuel Fee - $7.50

Jr. II - 290 lbs (ages 10-12) - $500 to Win

Jr. III - 320 lbs (ages 12-15) - $500 to Win

Another plus, the Fast Track Times in the time trials will also receive trophies for those five classes raced. Plus, f you're in the transfer age you can run both classes.
The track will supply ALL fuel - the fee for this will be $7.50, which is due upon registration.

Friday, October 24, the track will have another Money Race & Memorial Race for fallen karters Ralph Moore, and Kyle Dixon. Please come out and support the track. A tentative non-points race is scheduled for October 17, but that is not confirmed yet. There is a Maxxis National race that same weekend. The event will only be held if 60+ karts register this coming Friday or Saturday.
Come out and try your best. These races will be fun for all and plenty of kart action! See you at the track!
