What in the hell was Bobby Williams thinking? He goes and pulls out of the infield and stops in front of the leaders in turn 3. That tore up a lot of good cars that should have not been.

After conducting an interview with Bobby, it was not how it may have appeared:
"Could you help get my side of the story out ... and that we hope that everyone is ok ... health and car wise ... and hopefully my back and neck will also be getting better
On the restart I got spun out and my rear end was up on the jersey barriers near the entrance of turn 3. A caution was out I was sure. My front end was close to blocking the approach to turn 3. If I had stayed there , I would have also got hit ... but I moved because the caution was certainly out ...I thought.
I would like those to know that I was on the track ..and someone didn't slow the cars down .....when I spun on the restart.
I was even going slow on the track a very little ways thinking to let the cars pass under caution like Charlie says to do ... I didn't know they were still racing!
No caution lights until they got in turn three from where I was and then it was to late ! But it sure hurt ..me and others I would never intentionally do anything that would hurt any of us. Thanks Bobby"

Let me tell you I raced with Bobby for 3 years and there is no way anyone can tell me that he did that intentionally. I know people are upset that their equiptment is tore up. But remember we have all made mistakes and if Bobby thought the caution was out then that is what happened. Good luck to all and remember it could be any of us that makes the next mistake. God Bless

I have also raced with Bobby over the years. He has always raced clean. If you do not drive then don't comment about someone.
A lot is going on in and around your race car while your racing. There are no mirrors or spotters telling you what to do. You do what you think is safe. As for the other drivers we all get caught up in the moment. You have to look around the turn as you enter. Can't over drive your car. That class had to many cars that night. We need to do heat races. Not time trials.

I met bobby this winter, I he doesn't seem to the type of person that would puposely cause a wreck. he's probably more the type to help you get fixed from a wreck.
bobby looking forward to racing with you in the little lincoln's
