This Saturday night there will be a $3000 to win FASTRAK MOV/SE Touring event at Virginia Motor Speedway which as we call it “paid practice” and the perfect time to get ready for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP coming in September. The event will be running in conjunction with the 40th Annual "USA 100" paying a whopping $20,000 to win one day show!
For the first time in history the FASTRAK Dirt Late Model (Crate) Series will open its WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP to any and all that come. The event pays $15,000 to win and $500 to start that weekend which is the thickest, highest paying crate late model race on the planet. That event will be held on September 17th at Virginia Motor Speedway. There has never been a repeat winner in 13 years of the event.
September 16th will be the WORLD CHALLENGE paying $5000 to win and it is still limited to members only with 10 qualifying races in a FASTRAK weekly or touring events or combination of. Teams running the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP will be allowed to participate in the hot lap sessions on Friday night to prepare for the event.
TIRE rule WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND
FT200 – FT400 crate spec tires. No grooving or siping on the FT200. Grooving and siping is allowed on the FT400.
ENGINES: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND
GM stock engines will ALL GM PARTS weight 602 engine – 2150 604 engine – 2350
GM crate engines with aftermarket parts weight – add 100 lbs. (per NeSmith rules)
Minus 25 lbs for either/or containment seat or HANS type device. (1) 25 lb break only.
Bring your super late model to the $20,000 to win USA 100 and bring your crate late model for a little “paid practice”.
