I saw in the guide that Greg Mitchelle is loooking to start a V8 street stock class at middleford in 2013.
thats a great idea, if the rules are written with poor man in mind.
alum intakes can be found cheap now days (LL run a cast iron 2 brrl intake that costs 300+)
full frame cars (camaro and mustangs are harder to find cheap today)
70 series street tires, cheap plus 60 series racing tires get to much bite and break axles.
these are just my thoughts on rules.
hey maybe have the rules to allow the LL cars race with minor mods like tires/wheels that would get so cars right off the back instead of running a year with only 3-4 cars .
again just my .02 cent.

sounds like a good idea as long as it stays stock

I talked with Greg , he said it's only in the planning stage, and nothing concrete. but if it goes it will be "G" body cars like monte carlos, cutless, grandprix and the like. and will be stock bodied cars, no sheet metal bodies. I would defnity build one.

ive been to middleford twice this year.and it seems like they r trying to get the place together.the track is a lot nicer since they made it bigger.the supertrucks and the chargers put on a hell of a show.just need some more micros and modlites.they need something that can run with that 15 car of richie wilson i beleive. that guy was sending that 15 on the high side so hard every lap i dont know how he didnt flip. crazy.

I have a 79 monte waiting to be turned in to a race car, just hope it does come out so late that its a scamble to get one built.
