MANAGEMENT CANCELS NOVEMBER 12th SHOW AT GEORGETOWN SPEEDWAY

GEORGETOWN, DE (October 25, 2011) - The 2011 season at Georgetown
Speedway has come to an end as management cancelled the final show of
the year scheduled for Saturday, November 12. “With the two-day
Charlie Bray Memorial at Bridgeport Speedway occurring on the
following weekend and many drivers not interested in racing two shows
at the end of the year, we decided to cancel the November 12th show at
Georgetown Speedway,” stated promoter Jessica James. The final program
at the Sussex County facility was to feature the Big Block Modifieds,
Bridgeport Modifieds, Crate Late Models and Delmarva Chargers.

Georgetown Speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt oval located on the northbound
side of U.S. Route 113, just 35 miles south of Dover, Delaware, a
45-minute drive from Ocean City, Maryland, and easily accessible from
Washington DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia.
