Agreed here too but I don't understand it myself, spectator prices are reasonible if not cheap. and the racing is usually the best around!
I wonder whats up ?

i say middleford should just have a talk to all of the drivers to see what paige and them could do to attract more of a car count and fill the stands cus i agree with lee302 the racing at middleford is usually the best around and not alot of people have another track to go to if the worse happens at middleford.

I've been there for the last 2 weeks and have been very dissapointed I have race there for years and have had a great time doing it. But after seen how poor the track conditions are it would take an extreme change for me to race there again. I have talked to a lot of racers who are tired of fixing there cars due to a rough track and not from wrecks. I koow that the track could be preped right to where it is heavy but still smooth because the first few years after tommy changed the track the racing was awesome and when walt had it the racing was just as good so I know it can be done but you have to give a little to get a little and the racers are about done giving. I didn't write this to pregnant dog but as an eyeopener to say fix the problem while you still can. I will be there racing again soon hopefully but I won't race there the way that it is now. Yes the car count is poor.THE track is a mud hole every week even for the chargers.Even i am not ruining there case for the same reasons NO HEAT,and the track all ways looks like a corn field after harvest.

yeah I see it way down compared to last year. I was thinking that maybe us chargers could get together and join a few parades. letting people know that you car race cheap , and that is good racing at DMP. I am a 1/2 block from a big park in my town , lots of people will stop at my car in the alley. and ask me about it if Iam out there with it. I try to keep some rules on hand to hand out and maybe peak someone in to building a car.
I think if we joined a parade we could really stir up some interest and fans. I doubt anybody would come way over here in maryland. but I wouldn't mind hauling over to delaware to help support DMP.
How about some "follow me to DMP" bumper sticker, or some "www.redbud69racing.com" bumper stickers.

I believe if the track listens to the drivers and does more for them then the drivers will come. just like stratton said "a little to get a little and the racers are about done giving". Weve delt with the track conditions and everything else but now its time for something to change so everyone knows that middleford is a awesome place and is exciting for the normal spectator to watch. Something has to be done to save this track before its to late.

I like to see the winner of the trucks and chargers get something , like 2 free pit passes. that really wouldn't cost the track anything. the chargers and trucks are for the most part supporting the track out of thier own pockets.

just to be clear, I didmean that th trucks and chargers are the only ones supporting the track , just that they put thier show with no return.

The car counts ARE down. Ever since Walt Breeding left, things have gone down. They use to have 8 to 10 cars in the two main mod lite classes. Now they combined them and struggle to get 7 or 8 cars a night and the 270cc class is awful. Only havin 5 or 6 cars each night. The people running that place better come up with something cause that place does have good racing.
