Badboy who the hell cares if it was their first choice. You are just trying to stir sh*t up. I cant understand why people have to come on here and be deutsch bags. We all know Richard can race with anyone with good equipment. I am happy he got a ride, he is not only a great driver but hell of a person. Richard have fun and good luck.

you did not piss me off, i just like to hear positive things about our delaware drivers. I like seeing our local drivers running some of these out of town races. I always root for a local in those races. Hey- by the way who was the first person they asked , since you brought it up.

look I only started this post to let interested people know what I heard (that Jarvis had a ride for weekend), I should have known certain people would take a cheap shot at the news. As for comment on being second choice, who knows or cares. In this economy rides are hard to come by,so I am sure Jarvis is happy for this opportunity.Badboy -I dont know why you are posting things other people said in other post, especially when you were the one who stirred everything up in this one. You knew what you were doing when you wrote it. You and dirt64 need to leave it alone.

Congratulations Richard on the new ride this weekend. Also congratulations to you and Whitney on the new home and upcoming birth of that baby boy. Great to see you've got your priorities in order, and as always, excited to see you back on the track.

dirt64-duster4611-aroundwego(WRONG AGAIN) 1st off I wish Richard Jr nothing but good luck. Now if you read The Racing Paper you would know that car was suppose to race at Volusia Speedway and Brett Hearn was going to give Late Models a try out. For some reason it did not make the race. 2nd choice is that bad. So SLOWER LOWER DELAWARE is just what it is. You people down their are the most negative bunch of people, really u are a bunch of haters. These driver put on a show for you and if the driver is not your favorite that wins, then here come the slamming.

first off badboy, you started this tone of bashing on this thread, when you couldnt help making that sly comment.you knew that would stir things up when you said it.secondly people in delaware are passionate about racing and their favorite driver ,if you bash that driver even in around about way, your going to get called out.go look at other sports forums you find the same type of passion ,so dont just single out delaware.

badboy, please don't catagorize all of us from Slower Lower as haters. I have some drivers that I like better than others but, I don't hate them. In the same token, there are drivers that I do not particularly care for but just because I don't doesn't mean that I do not recognize the fact that they are better than average drivers. All of my favorites have long since retired, both locally and in Winston Cup. I attend races regularly just because I like racing. I hope that Jarvis Jr. does well and maybe gains some more rides from this experience.

I don't know the owners name, but I am told that it is the guy fron Indiana (I think) that bought Steve Nuttles' car. The car Jarvis drove last year. Last night at Bedford Jarvis, Ricky, and Kenny Pettyjohn DNQ at Bedford. Hubbard Ran third in heat and like 19 th in feature.

I'm up here in Bedford with Jarvis. He was in his old which is now #2. Ran god but didn't make the main feature. Cream of the crop was there including, Bloomquist, Eckert, Owens, Hubbard, Richards, etc. 66 SLM's in the field! Hubbard started and finished 15th. Pettyjohn wrecked hard and probably totaled the car. Hoping rain holds off for Hagerstown tonight!

jarvis will be back ,he is just taking a break.he does that from time to time.when he gets a promising ride that will further his career he will take it. he is not going to drive something that will not put him in victory lane.and make him look bad. give him a 1st class ride and he will put it to the front

As I stated in a previous post Richard was contacted by the guy who bought his car at the end of the season to see if he wanted to race in the Lucas Oil Series at Bedford and Hagerstown. This as I understand it was just a weekend deal. Considering the car had been completely changed, with a new owner and crew chief and Richard hadn't been in the seat for 6 months he ran good. Only problem was the cream of the crop was there from all over the country, 66 SLM in all. A lot of good teams packed up early that night. I'm sure when the right opportunity presents itself, we will see Richard back on the track!

All of you need to support local drivers! If they go out of state it means they are growing their abilities ti drive different cars at different tracks. So lets post positive things on here because were in a running motion going no where bad mouthing each other. Be thankful that a local driver is getting the chance!
