Congradulations to Kevin Mckinney & Jack Vammino on your win at the Winternationals in Tampa. I understand the New Pro car was assome right out of the box. Great job to everyone involved. Here at Hughes Racing we hope your season continues in 2010 the way it started. Great Job. Don, Donna & Tyler Hughes

Great job Kevin. Kevin had an old pro car . I really think your jumping the gun on the 2010 Pro the performance was not that good and we know that the drivers are good . I'm sure they will change that front end back to the old style no offense for trying but anybody running that front end will probably never win a race

Congratulations to Landis Musser for your win on Thurs nite, 2/18, at Eastbay Winternationals. We had alot of local talent drivers competing there and you guys showed them that we are a force to be reckoned with, no matter what kind of car your driving! To all the drivers who made the trip to Tampa, you made us proud!

I would like to congratulate Nick Nash on a job well done! This was his first time at Eastbay, first year racing in 2009, and he did a great job! I am definately looking forward to watching him race this year. Hopefully you won't be racing with long time veterans this year Nick, but if you are, we'll be cheering you on!

itsmydime... love to read your postings. You keep it factual and positive. I do have one question for you Who would you like to see in a new pro with the new front end suspension to prove or disprove that it can win a race at middleford? Kevin mckinney Jimmy Wills Dillon Evans Mike Stratton Or whoever else you know that runs a pro
I think the right driver will set fast lap times and will win a race or RACES

Kevin mckinney Jimmy Wills Dillon Evans Mike Stratton Or whoever else you know that runs a pro I think the right driver will set fast lap times and will win a race or RACES Well thats a tough crew to chose from. At Middleford I would say Mike Straton could get it done first Followed by Dillon Evans or Tyler Hughes NOT to knock any other driver I feel that way because of their the driving style. The problem my not be at Middleford it may be the larger tracks with longer corners that front end just wont stay planted down after the track goes through the transition from heavy to slick Jimmy did everything he could do I'm sure at East Bay and the car didn't drive the same from lap to lap the most consistent thing the car did do was unexpectedly take off for the wall in the center of the turns several times all 4 days ! The only time when the car looked good and fast was in practice and the heat. This cantilever type front end "Isn't" a new idea this was tried in the Early to mid 70s on Modified's with no success. Not sure 30 - 40 yrs later its gonna be a dominate set up . All though the technology with springs and shocks now is drastically different. Just remember I'm not knocking the car at all I just think eventually they will be back to the old style. But great job for Walt for making it interchangeable. So everybody has a choice .
