i personally think tht ya'll need to suck it up...like others said rubbin is racin...and the amount tht derek does is nothin compared to all the dumb bs tht the other drivers have been doin all year...you cnt expect to go out in a charger race and not get beat up...thts wt u sign up for practically...i dnt complain when i get beat up out at the track unless someone does it intentionally..and wt derek did tht night when sipple wrecked was not intentionally...the last thing tht middleford speedway needs is more drama ...if you cnt handle gettin bumped a couple times..STAY HOME..cuz running your mouth after u get off the race track isnt gonna help you or anyone else...no one wants to here all the wining after the race is over...all tht shows is a sore loser....its REALLY nice to win but you cant expect to win every race...no one can win every single race....so everyone just needs to let wt happened in the past go...its done...you cnt go back and change it...so everyone needs to stop running their mouths..like derek said if you have a problem or question dnt put it all over this internet cite go up and confront him about it..this whole thing just needs to stop

Just figured i would throw my opinion into the stew for a bit lol. I think there needs to be a little bumping and rubbing in the Charger Class. the track isn't that wide and personally if i was racing a charger i would be in someones side almost everytime i went into a turn "not intentionally but like every other racer i go for first not second third or just a good race", NAPA Chargers rub bump beat and bang as much as you want just keep it form getting personal and make sure noone gets seriously hurt.

Is it just me or is everyone else sick of hearing sipple27 cry and wine about everything. I like how nothing is ever his fault and he is always the victim and when someone gets into him they are always out to get him. Oh it just cant be an accident. Its racing! Things will happen. There will be dissapointments. Grow up and get over it!

SIPPLE! Read what you write. You just said there is racing then there is taking someone out. Then you said if you had a problem with someone you would take them out!!!!!!! Are you a idiot? Which one is it moron! Are you gonna treat him the same or take him out? Eveyone knows you obviously have a problem with Swafford. So does that mean your gonna go out there this week and take him out and put him in the wall. I mean that is what you just said, am i correct, i think so ! Swafford you said you were cornfused but i believe what Sipple is saying is he can handle you. You can ask him for yourself but thats just my opinion. Oh yeah Sipple. I like how you just posted on the internet, which everyone reads, that you will take someone out if you have a problem with them. Pretty d**n stupid if you ask me. Do you have a problem with what i just wrote? Are you gonna "take me out" too? Its gonna be hard since i dont race but you can always justn cry about it like you normally do.

Can we just end this thread now. If you look back at what has been wriitten you would probally laugh it is such BS. Swafford and Sipple I know you both personally. You both are great drivers and good guys. Stay off this site before you both get a reputation you will not be able to live down. Keep you mouths shut, stay off this site and lets see some good clean racing out of both of you. You both are great drivers such drive with your brains and not anger. The next time you want to get on this thread go out to the shop and work on the car. Stay off here. Good luck to both of you.

You guys wanna know why the tires are down there? They are still there so no one tries running down in the infield to gain positions. Before they put the tires there people would get mad and complain that people are passing in the infield. So now you pass in the infield you get docked spots and i think thats fair.

They could easily replace the tires with cones, you run less of a chance of messing up your car if you hit them, and they would still keep the drivers from passing on the infield, just my opinion.

We've had cones down there before and by the fourth race we had to replace them cause people would hit them and not care. The tires people don't try to hit they stay away. With cones its easier to hit them and push them so racers always take advantage of it. Trust me the tires are the best way to keep people out of the infield. Just be thankful they don't do what delmar and other tracks have in the turns (cement walls)

what if the tires were buried half way standing up , then they would still be a barrier, but but anchored so they don't get pushed out into the racing area and bring out cautions or crete a safty issue.

True... but that is how they are at Delmar. They dont move onto the track but when you hit them they dont give. If you hit a tire thats just laying there you might tear some stuff up. But if the tire is buried and doesnt give when you hit it then the impact will be harder and you will tear more stuff up. I dont see why they cant just leave the barrels out. They are plenty big and obvious if you hit one. So if you do knock one out you get sent to the back. And they are only plastic, so you wont have hardly any damage if you do hit or run over one. In my opinion thats the best way to go.

that still leaves a plastic barrel flying out into race traffic or where ever and still causing a caution. they could cut the sidewalls of the tires to make them more forgiving, but the points is that you not supposed to be down there in the first place. just a thought

I dont mean to heep critisizing you. You do have good points. But if you hit a tire it is still going to be thrown in the track causing a caution. A barrell will cause much less damage. And true, your not suppossed to be under the tires anyway...but hey, its dirt track racing. Its very aggressive and its gonna happen whether its intentional or by accident. You could be trying to avoid a wreck or another driver push you into them. Its not your fault but all the same you still tear your car up. And if a person does try to go below and pass and knock one out then send them to the back. Simple. And i have seen drivers throw tires out on the track and other drivers that couldnt avoid them hit or run over them and break something on thier car. Why should they have to suffer from someone elses mistake. If they hit a barrell it just flies in the air. I have seen barrells flying before. Nothing ever happens to the cars. They can continue racing with little or no damage.

no problem here , ideas come from good debates.
still think a waekened tire that is half buried would be better.
most tracks have walls or gaurd rails on the inside.

anything's better then a tire laying on the side of the track, buried would b much better then the way their setting now "i think", using cones/ barrells would be good, they would have to police the corners a little more "what would justify to send a driver to the back? touching the barrell, actually knocking it over?" i think setting up road spikes in the corners, if you get down too low you will know it!!! haha just kidding!! maybe next year they can try something different either way Friday should be a good night
