It was great to see the 8-ball back out , it was like legends night last night , Eddie Pettyjohn, Hal Browning, Kenny Brightbill, Kramer Williamson good to see them guys still at it and doing pretty good too!

I think Charlie's done a good job adding special nights already this year but this idea is a winner. Eddie Pettyjohn, Hal Browning and Kenny Brightbill in Late Models would be a special show indeed. Kramer is a sprint car driver so I don't see that as a good pick but any other ideas of older drivers that were in these three guys class?

If we widen the window just a little put Old Man Richard Jarvis out there. Now he would put on a show

Richard Jarvis is a great pick. I hope this idea gets legs and gets done. I know he won most all his races in mods but Harold Bunting is another star from the past that fans would love to see turn the wheel again. But back to the original post .... Eddie P. vs Hal Browning going one on one for 10 laps for $500 (or more) would be a great race and bleacher filler.

The more I think of this we have more like two different options. One a legends race that could involve many drivers from past or present and the other a match race (or grudge race if you prefer) that would be just two drivers going heads up. Eddie Pettyjohn vs Hal Browning or Elliott vs Hubbard (or Jarvis) or how about Jamie Mills vs HJ ? Think of any other match ups? Can you imagine the excitement for a Elliott vs Hubbard heads up 10 lapper right now? Who would want to miss that ?
