Took my family there last night, it was my girlfriend and her kid's first time at a race of any sort. They loved it ! Great racing and family friendly environment. Close to home to boot, and cheaper admission. 300% better than the URC show I saw during the daytime there a few years ago. I hadn't been to a big car race since then. People NEED TO SUPPORT this track, Lou Johnson and Deron Rust are doing a SPECTACULAR job!! Did I mention we left as the last feature (crate mods) were going out for their feature, and we were home by 10:50 (we live near Rt 30 and 1) Who knows, might see Lucky 13 racing either a Vintage Mod or crate Mod there next year

I was there. just as I was for all the races at Georgetown for the last few years. I must say, I was very disappointed with the super late models due to lack of driver support. Gotta do better than 12. The track will fail again unless driver support in the headline divisions get better, who, as a fan, wants to go out and watch a feature that basically a heat race for 25 laps?

I totally agree with we need all local drivers, and fans to support this place and keep it alive... The only thing i would say that might help with the car counts is to get rid of the invert drawings after the heat races. What's the point of running heat races if your going to reset the field.... It's laps that don't need to be run on high dollar equipment. Just my opinion!

If you didnt invert some then you would have Elliott on the pole every time that wouldnt make a good feature. But I know what your saying they do the fan redraw at delmar each week.

I guess the point wasn't made clear enough, You run heat race's to set the features bottom line. Is there a invert in the outlaw series or lucas oil NOPE.... Get rid of the invert b.s that's one of the big reason's drivers complained about delmar.. This track needs to separate it's self from charlie's b.s but instead they are playing in to his hand with some of the rules! Ricky can't win every heat race.... In the crate class's it's really a big deal remember locally we run on tracks that are only 1 grove tracks. I'm asking track management to please look at this seriously...

what about having the previous winner start in the rear the next race???
how is the pay out to the lower finishing order, maybe your only drawing the cars that can top 5 for better money. Iam sure if mr blue collar racer can make a little more tow money he'd likely show up......IMHO, which is worth .........
